本书是国家标准《冶金电气设备工程安装验收规范》GB50397-2007的英文版。本规范根据中华人民共和国建设部第621号公告制定，自2007年10月1日起实施。本规范适用于冶金企业新建、扩建和改建的额定电压为500kV及以下的电气设备安装工程的施工质量的验收。本规范共分26章和6个附录，主要内容包括总则，基本规定，高压电器安装，电力变压器安装，互感器、电抗器、避雷器、电容器安装，旋转电机安装，配电盘、成套柜安装，蓄电池安装，低压电器安装，起重机电气设备安装，滑触线和移动式软电缆安装，母线装置安装，电缆线路，露天采矿场线路敷设，矿井下电缆敷设，电缆支架、桥架安装，电缆终端头、电缆接头制作，架空线路及杆上电气设备安装，牵引网的安装，配管、配线，电气照明装置安装，矿井下照明灯具及配电箱暗转，避雷针（网）及接地装置安装，爆炸危险场所电气线路敷设，爆炸危险场所电气设备安装，火灾危险场所电气装置安装等。
